Hi all,
Well, my mom and I went out shopping today. We went to the bookstore first, which use to becalled Wills bookstore, but now it's called books amillion. We went so I could pick out a couple of cassette books for Christmas. We found 2 books almost immediately by Dean Koontz. I went because since I have so many books on tape, she didn't know what books i have, what I've read and what I haven't, so we went to the bookstore, and they had bunches of cassette books on tape. I picked out the 2 Dean Koontz books, The bad place, and the taking. They both sound very good, and I always like Dean Koontz. We didn't get to have a burger in the mall, because there wasn't a burger king anymore, so we moved on to sears, where mom got some things there. She was going to take me in a restaurant she and her friend usually go to, and see if they would serve cheese burgers, but it was crowded, so we went to the place we always go to on the weekend, and ate in the car. It was really neat being in the bookstore with so many cassette books. The traveling chair really works great. We got around faster than we would have if I had been using the walker. So that was my day.

Books on tape rock! And so do burgers! Hehehehh! Well today I had lunch with an adult blind friend, who is amazing, and her secretary, who is also amazing lol. Then I finished organizing my CD collectino (see the post "How Do You Organize Your CD Collection" for more info on that). I had a doughnut for breakfast, a special treat, a turkey sandwich on a croissant for lunch and spaghetti with meat sauce and powdered cheese with garlic bread for dinner.

/Sounds like you had a busy day too, caitlin. Yep, nothing better than books and burgers. I still had a cheese burger, and mom said she would take me to the restaurant some day when it wasn't so crowded. It was probably crowded because it was between noon and 1 pm. Perhaps if we go later on a weekday, it won't be so crowded.

If you like burgers, never watch the movie Supersize Me. It may have put a lesser person than myself off fast food for life! Hahhahaa... anyone who's seen it will agree, I think.

yeah...I like books, but I don't know about burgers...he...let me see. had breakfast: cereal. went to school. went to music and p.e. had math and reading. Had lunch: p.b.j, cinnaman applesauce, applesauce cake, and milk. had a renaissance festival, long story. School's out! It's vacation! my day.
not me, I've been eating cheese burgers too long to give them up now, so no movie could turn me off of them, heeheehee. I've been eating them since I was 8 years old, that's 37 years. I'm addicted to them.
